8 min read

South Korea's legendary Dream Concert, now in its 30th year, is stepping out of Seoul for the first time and we can’t be anymore excited. The cherry on the top is that it is making its way to Abu Dhabi. The K Pop Dream Concert Abu Dhabi lineup has already created waves online with fans anticipating who will take the center stage. For the magnificent event, Etihad Park on Yas Island will turn into a K-pop heaven on November 22, 2025, with ATEEZ, Red Velvet, Triple S, and All(H)Ours being some of the performers included.

This blog touches on the history of Dream Concert, Abu Dhabi edition facts, ticket information and ground experience expectations.

Dream Concert's Journey - From Seoul to the World

To grasp the size of the Dream Concert heading to Abu Dhabi, one needs to look at its history. In 1995, Dream Concert was designed to bring the hottest K-pop stars of the day onto a single stage. Since then, the show has grown into a cultural phenomenon in South Korea, an annual giant concert where new idols and legendary super-idols have the chance to shine on center stage before hundreds of thousands of fans.

Dream Concert, in its humble origins, has been the platform for history-making performances and here are some highlights;

  • BTS performed here before they achieved international superstardom.
  • EXO, TVXQ, and Girls' Generation broke or established careers with their performances, and made the game.
  • BLACKPINK stunned the masses with spectacular performances years before they were embarking on world tours.

Red Velvet Dream Concert

For fans, Dream Concert isn’t just another festival, it’s an institution, a rite of passage, and a chance to witness multiple top-tier acts in one unforgettable night. And in 2025, for its 31st edition, it leaves Seoul for the very first time, making Abu Dhabi’s debut both historic and symbolic.

Dream Concert 2025 – Abu Dhabi Edition

On Saturday, 22 November 2025, the Middle East will host its first-ever Dream Concert, at Etihad Park, Yas Island, the UAE's biggest open-air amphitheater with a capacity for 25,000–40,000 fans. Having already hosted Beyoncé, Coldplay, and Formula 1, Etihad Park is a top-notch venue well-equipped to host the pomp and din K-pop demands.

The doors open at 4:00 PM, and music continues from there on until nearly midnight, creating a music, dance, and fan culture marathon mayhem.

The Confirmed Lineup (So Far)

The first K Pop Dream Concert Abu Dhabi lineup has already been announced, and it's packed with fan favorites:

  • ATEEZ – For their phenomenal choreography and global hits like Guerrilla and BOUNCY. They're festival royalty globally because of their stage presence.

  • Red Velvet – Queens of duality, who are most famous for being just as popular for their bright and bubbly tunes (Red Flavor) as they are for their dark and menacing anthems (Psycho, Bad Boy). They have Dream Concert experience in Korea already a couple of times over and we are certain Abu Dhabi won't be an exception.

  • Triple S – The trend-setting modular girl group rewriting the rules on how a K-pop group should be, with shifting sub-units and constantly experimenting with their performances.

  • All(H)Ours – Rising rookies already causing a stir with polished performances and powerful vocals.

And that is only just the beginning. Promoters will also reveal more headliners K pop line-up on September 12, sparking speculation that performances by acts like Enhypen, Seventeen, or NMIXX are in the mix.

What Makes Abu Dhabi the Ideal Location?

Dream Concert's move to Abu Dhabi is not an accident. The UAE positioned itself as a cultural center, most notably for live entertainment. Abu Dhabi has welcomed the following in recent years:

  • BLACKPINK on tour Born Pink.
  • TXT and other idols at Hyperound K-Fest.
  • Global artists like Eminem, The Rolling Stones, Rihanna at Yas Island concerts and the list continues.

For K-pop in general, the UAE has one more plus: huge expat communities across Asia, vibrant youth culture, and government-supported attempts to be the entertainment center of the region. The Dream Concert coming to this place is proof positive that Abu Dhabi is firmly on the globe's festival map.
