Global Village is the UAE’s premier multicultural destination filled with lots of fun activities for individuals and families. Since opening its doors in 1997, Global Village has become one of Dubai’s leading entertainment venues with seasonal events that bring visitors the best entertainment, dining experiences, shopping, live performances, and numerous attractions.
To the delight of residents and tourists alike, Global Village has announced an extension to this year’s season. Initially slated to end on May 11, the vibrant outdoor attraction will now keep its doors open until Sunday, May 18, 2025.
In a message shared on Global Village’s official handle on Instagram, the entertainment institution extended the season following an overwhelming request from visitors and record turnout on what was previously scheduled to be the final day of the current season.
Global Village 2025 — New Closing Date and Timings
This year’s edition, season 29, is set to feature representations from up to 90 cultures, taking diversity and creativity to a whole new level. Guests will enjoy a myriad of cuisines, cultures, and activities.
With Global Village’s new closing date, there has also been an adjustment to the daily operating hours. The destination is now open to visitors from 4pm to 1am daily, including weekdays. Previously, the venue only opened until midnight from Sunday to Wednesday, and up to 1am from Thursday to Saturday.
Families and tourists can now enjoy the 30 onsite pavilions, each representing different cultures, shows, rides, restaurants, and more.
Global Village’s new timings are expected to accommodate a larger turnout for the season’s final week.
End-of-season Special Offers
Thousands flooded Global Village on what was expected to be the last day of the season to take advantage of the special end-of-season promotions. The influx reflects the excitement of many visitors to explore the wonders of the entertainment venue.
Some of the standout offers include free entry for children under the age of 12, unlimited Carnaval rides for just Dh50, guided tours, Family fun pass, and much more.
Last year’s promotions were extended alongside the season; this year, it’s uncertain if the offers will remain for the 7-day extension. However, a representative of Global Village stated that further details on offers will be communicated soon. Visitors should be on the lookout for standout offers that would elevate their experience.

The final week has received a lot of hype and attention. A season that began on October 16, 2024 is sadly soon coming to an end. But this popular family destination isn’t going anywhere and will resume activities again when the weather becomes more favorable, perhaps in October 2025.
